Official breakaway goal will withstand shock loads due to a player slam dunking and/or hanging on the rim. Fits both 48" and 42" bank. The rim deflects down when a load of 230 lbs. is applied and returns to the playing position once the load is removed. Shock absorbing, release/return mechanism is concealed within a fully protective cover. Rim is 5/8" diameter steel with 12 "no tie" net attachment clips welded to the rim. Complete with mounting hardware and nylon anti-whip net. Meets all NCAA and NFHS specifications. For indoor use only.
